Join us for an engaging and interactive 2-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFAider®) Training Course certified by MHFA® England.
AS AN MHFAider® YOU WILL GAIN THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE TO:
An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
Understanding of the following common diagnoses: Depression, Anxiety, Self-harm, Eating Disorders, Psychosis
Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
Knowledge to help someone recover

Applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan - What is depression? - What is suicide? - Crisis first aid continued - What is psychosis?
Session 4 - Thursday 2nd October 2025 | 2:00pm to 5:15pm
Recovery and lived experience - Boundaries in the MHFAider® role - Moving forward in the MHFAider® role - My MHFA action plan
